Come and join Decoding Dyslexia, The Dyslexia and Literacy Network, and Cathy Clements, Director at The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Bloomsburg, for a presentation on Dyslexia and the Orton Gillingham teaching approach. After the discussion, Michael Connolly, Esq., Supervising Partner of the Special Education Department at McAndrews Law Offices, P.C. , will present on “Special Education: A Practical Overview for Families”. Attendees will learn about children’s educational rights in school, including services that are proven to be effective. Followed by the presentations, parents will have the opportunity to meet individually with a special education attorney from McAndrews Law Offices for a brief review of their child’s most recent IEP and/or relevant paperwork.
