Internal investigations have become critical to fulfilling requirements of good governance in public and private entities. Allegations of impropriety can arise through government investigations, private accusations, civil lawsuits, whistleblower claims, and journalistic activities. Once such allegations are raised, an entity must quickly and comprehensively assess the legal and financial risks posed by such allegations and undertake a prompt and effective investigative response.
