(MLO) is honored to announce that our Chief Operating Officer and Supervising Partner of The Special Education Department, Michael Connolly, Esq., has been selected as a “Best Mentor” Finalist in The Legal Intelligencer’s 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards.

Honorees were recognized at the 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards Ceremony on June 12, 2025, at The Hilton at Penns Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program stated, “Join us in celebrating the outstanding achievements and unparalleled excellence within the Pennsylvania and Delaware legal communities. The Pennsylvania Legal Awards honor those exceptional lawyers and firms whose dedication, leadership, and vision have profoundly shaped the legal landscape.”
This recognition highlights Michael’s unwavering dedication to representing children with disabilities and their families. As COO and Supervising Partner of MLO’s Special Education Department, Michael is both a fierce and compassionate leader. With over twenty-five years of legal experience, he represents children with special needs and their families in a variety of educational matters at administrative hearings and in state and federal court. He assists parents in disputes involving their public school or charter school regarding issues such as eligibility and identification, programming and placement, tuition reimbursement, discipline, bullying, discrimination, injuries and more.
