(MLO) is honored to announce that our Supervising Partner of The Special Education Department, Michael Connolly, Esq., has been selected as a “Distinguished Leaders” winner in The Legal Intelligencer’s 2024 Pennsylvania Legal Awards.
The award is described by Law.com/The Legal Intelligencer as follows: “This award recognizes lawyers and legal professionals who achieved impressive results in the past year and demonstrated clear leadership skills that helped them achieve those results.”
The nomination process for the award’s categories began last year and was open to the entire Pennsylvania and Delaware legal communities. The finalists and winners were selected by Law.com and The Legal Intelligencer editors and reporters. Honorees will be recognized at the Pennsylvania Legal Awards dinner reception on May 15th, 2024, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
This recognition highlights Michael’s unwavering dedication to representing children with disabilities and their families. As Supervising Partner of MLO’s Special Education Department, Michael is both a fierce and compassionate leader. With over twenty-five years of legal experience, he represents children with special needs and their families in a variety of educational matters at administrative hearings and in state and federal court. He assists parents in disputes involving their public school or charter school regarding issues such as eligibility and identification, programming and placement, tuition reimbursement, discipline, bullying, discrimination, injuries and more.
