On Saturday, June 20th, 2015, families and friends came out to support Ethan at the “2015 Ethan’s Heart Journey 5k & Kids Fun Run/Walk”. McAndrews Law Offices was honored to have the opportunity to be a sponsor for this great cause. It was a gorgeous day to celebrate and support a young, beautiful and strong boy!
“Ethan Schwartz is an amazing 5 year old boy! He brings so much joy and inspiration to everyone he meets with his beautiful smile and tenacious spirit. Ethan’s journey began at birth with several surgeries to address his congenital heart defect. A few weeks after his 2nd birthday, Ethan had his 4th heart surgery and suffered a cardiac arrest which led to a severe anoxic brain injury. It takes a village to raise a child like Ethan and to provide as normal a life as possible. That’s where your help comes in! Every little bit goes a long way in easing the burdens of his constant care, medical follow-ups, frequent hospital stays, equipment, therapies and travel expenses.
