In recognition of the outstanding contributions of our shareholders to our legal family, the official name of our law firm has been expanded to “McAndrews, Mehalick, Connolly, Hulse, Ryan, and Marone, P. C.” These outstanding attorneys who are now recognized in our official firm name have provided outstanding contributions to the work of our practice. Lesley Mehalick and Michael Connolly are the Supervising Partners for our Estates and Trusts and Special Education Departments, respectively, and during their lengthy tenures at our firm have established themselves as statewide and national leaders in their specialized areas of practice, while overseeing the expansion of our law firm to Pittsburgh, Central Pennsylvania, and Southern Delaware. Katie Ryan has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in a highly skillful and collegial manner, while overseeing every area of our practice and participating extensively in our federal court work. Heather Hulse has established a major special education presence in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania and operates our busy Scranton, Pennsylvania office with a high level of skill, efficiency, and dedication to our clients. Anthony Marone is recognized as one of the nation’s most highly respected elder law attorneys, while also handling general estate planning matters with skill and compassion. Caitlin McAndrews is a member of the bar of five jurisdictions (Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C.), and has expanded our firm’s special education and estate planning practice throughout the state of Delaware while providing opportunities to supply our legal services in each of her five jurisdictions.
The Pennsylvania Department of State has provided official recognition of our new expanded name. For sake of simplicity and continuity, our historic logo and name of “McAndrews Law Offices” will continue to be used in limited contexts, such as answering our phones and some marketing activities. Please join me and our entire legal family in congratulating our shareholders for this public recognition of their indispensable work at the firm!
