The MLO Minute —
As so many of our clients have experienced, our firm engages in extensive volunteer work in the communities we serve. Every year, our attorneys provide over 100 free seminars and programs in conjunction with advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, and various interdisciplinary entities. We literally supply thousands of hours of community education and support with these groups and for the families with whom they collaborate. We always welcome invitations to provide these free community programs in our areas of practice.
And in addition to these free community-based educational programs, our attorneys and support staff also devote significant time and effort in serving on boards and volunteering at events of organizations and groups which provide charitable support to members of our local communities. Many members of our legal family read for students at local schools and assist in numerous educational-based activities, and even beyond these frequent efforts, we are extensively involved in the following nonprofit community organizations:
Visitation BVM School in West Norriton/Trooper
Mothers’ Home
Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin-Easttown (FLITE)
Compassion International
St. James Outreach House
Home At Last Dog Rescue
Bournelyf Special Camp
Daemion Counseling Center
Pennsylvania Voter Services
Drexel Neumann Academy in Chester
Autism Delaware
St. Nicholas of Tolentine
Valley Forge Elementary School Library
Helping Hands, in partnership with Catholic Relief Services
T&E Cares
Achieva and The Arc of Greater Pittsburgh
Bucks County Board of Elections
Pennsylvania Bar Association, Civil & Equal Rights Committee
Pennsylvania Bar Association, Exceptional Children Committee
Disability Rights PA

Our firm is blessed to be an integral part of our local communities. Of course, our initial special education client consultations and record reviews remain free of charge, and we welcome the opportunity to serve families who believe they require advocacy on behalf of their child to obtain a free appropriate public education. We look forward to continued service to our communities and the families we represent!
