The MLO Minute: “Our Estates Department Recognizes Surrey Services New Location!”

On Thursday, May 2, I attended the opening of a new location of Surrey Services in Bryn Mawr. This new location expands the outstanding programs that Surrey offers to senior citizens in Southeastern Pennsylvania, and represents an important addition to the magnificent mission which Surrey provides to seniors. As a nonprofit organization, Surrey provides unique opportunities and important solutions for older adults regardless of income. We have provided several free seminars at Surrey regarding Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship, and Estate Administration and have always enjoyed our collaboration.

Surrey‘s programs appeal to a wide variety of interests and abilities, and encourage connection, friendship, and well-being for senior citizens. The Surrey programs include fitness classes, nutrition/meals, information/referral, transportation, and home care services. Its “Neighbor helping Neighbor” philosophy means that volunteers are at the center of everything Surrey provides.
