Community non-profit hosts popular annual event with notorious interactive and performance-based New York basketball team. Event raises money to support FLITE-funded programs in T/E School District
BERWYN, PA, February 11th, 2015 – The Harlem Wizards will be back and ready to take on the students and faculty of Tredyffrin/Easttown School District on March 20th and 21st at 7:00pm (doors open at 6pm) at the Conestoga High School Gymnasium for a jaw-dropping show. This will mark the fourth annual matchup for the Harlem Wizards, an aerodynamic performance basketball team, and the Foundation for Learning In Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE). FLITE is an IRS recognized non-profit organization that helps ensure that all children in T/E have the tools, opportunities and support they need to succeed in school. FLITE works with the T/E School District Administration, who identify areas of need, and then FLITE raises funds from the community to support those needs. FLITE-funded programs help students from early childhood through college preparation.
All ages are encouraged to come out for a night (or two) to support this great community cause and to be a part of this entertaining, hilarious and athletic experience that will leave people cheering in their seats and smiling all the way home. Ticket sales begin on Tuesday, February 10th, at 9:00am for $11.00 and can be purchased at www.flite-pa.org. Tickets purchased at the door are $13.00, but will only be available if the shows do not sell out ahead of time. Shows the past three years have sold out.
FLITE would like to express their sincere gratitude to our sponsors this year. About FLITE
The Foundation for Learning In Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE) is an all-volunteer non-profit foundation that helps to ensure that all students in Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools, especially those who face barriers to their educational success, have the academic tools, opportunities and support they need to succeed in school.
FLITE helps students, ages preschool through high school, by funding educational programs.
