Virtual IEP Clinic: Special Education During and After COVID-19
Presented by Dennis McAndrews, Esq., and our Supervising Partner of Special Education, Michael Connolly, Esq.
Our Special Education Department is presenting a free virtual IEP clinic to assist families in coping with the current health/school crisis, while planning for next steps in the weeks and months to follow. The presentation will be provided by Dennis McAndrews, Esq. and our Supervising Partner of Special Education, Michael Connolly, Esq., who will speak on key special education issues in general, as well as specifically on navigating the extraordinary current crisis in public health and education. We will be airing the IEP Clinic on Wednesday, May 13th at NOON via our MLO Minute newsletter. The presentation will later be published on our website , Facebook , YouTube , and LinkedIn pages. We welcome you to submit questions in advance of the presentation by emailing mcandrewslawoffices@gmail.com by Noon, Tuesday, May 12th. We will provide answers to as many questions as possible. During this pandemic, we continue to provide free consultations in all special education cases for families who are concerned about their current — and future — special education needs of their children. Student records can be emailed or mailed to us, and if a parent has limited records for any reason, we can work with whatever records can be provided, with the most current IEP and evaluations being the most critical and helpful to allow us to assist you. To set up a free consultation, please call any of our numbers or submit the online contact form on our website by clicking here . The great majority of our special education matters can be handled after our free consultation without charge of hourly fees to our clients. Our staff will be happy to guide you through the process.
