By Allyson McAndrews Washo, M.Ed., Director of Communications and Marketing —
On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, were tragically murdered in their college home in the middle of the night. Just over one month later, 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger was arrested at his family’s Pennsylvania Pocono Mountain home. Kohberger was a Ph.D. student at Washington State University in their criminology program at the time of the murders.
This high-profile trial is set to begin in August of 2025 in Ada County, Idaho. ABC’s Northeastern Pennsylvania station, WNEP, has been closely covering the case of the State of Idaho v. Bryan Kohberger for well over two years now. Reporter Stacy Lange is the host of their series, “Kohberger: Case of Interest”, where she discusses the upcoming trial, including the various court documents that have been made public. In their most recent episode, Stacy interviewed McAndrews Law Offices’ Founder and Managing Partner Emeritus, Dennis McAndrews, about the most recent decisions ruled by Judge Hippler.
