McAndrews Law Offices, P.C. will be bringing Heather Hulse, JD, MS, MA and Joseph McGettigan, Esq., two of their renowned attorneys, to Lock Haven University to speak on children’s educational rights and the lessons learned from the trial of serial child sex abuser Jerry Sandusky.

The special education portion of the event will be presented by Heather Hulse, JD, MS, MA, a Partner at McAndrews Law Offices where she leads their Scranton office. Attendees will learn about their child’s educational rights in school, including special education services and regulations that insure children MUST receive free, appropriate programs which are proven to be effective. Ms. Hulse has years of experience representing parents of children with disabilities in special education matters, as well as extensive experience in children and adolescent psychology.
Joseph McGettigan, Esq., the successful prosecutor in the trial of serial child sex abuser Jerry Sandusky and member of McAndrews Law Offices, will lead the second portion of the presentation by taking the audience through the entire prosecution. His discussion brings awareness to the fact that child abuse can occur virtually anywhere, and often times it is in institutional settings, such as schools or camps, while under the supervision and care of a professional adult.
